Indian Navy Signs Contract with M/s Secon for Acquisition of 8 Missile cum Ammunition Barge

New Delhi. A contract for construction of Eight Missile Cum Ammunition Barges (MCA) for Indian Navy concluded with M/s SECON, Visakhapatnam, a Micro Small and Medium Enterprises on February 19, a Government press statement said.

Delivery of Barges is scheduled to commence from July 2022.

The Missile Cum Ammunition Barges will be inducted in Indian Navy to undertake the mission needs for embarking/ disembarking Missile, Gunnery and ASW Ammunition. The project adds another milestone to the Make in India initiative of the Government of India.
