The primary target opportunity under this Agreement is the fabrication and integration of composite doors and hatches along with locking mechanism and associated components for naval vessels to replace conventional steel doors and hatches.

The collaborative association between the pioneer shipbuilder in India and the frontrunner entity in composite structures and components is aimed at achieving indigenous content of at least 50% as required under the Buy (Indian-IDDM) or Buy (Indian) categories thereby furthering the objectives of self-reliance in defence manufacturing as outlined in the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative of Govt of India.
