GRSE Contributes Towards Covid Prevention Measures, and R&R Post Cyclone Amphan

 

Kolkata. During the prevailing pandemic conditions due to Covid 19, GRSE has been actively supporting the local population of Metiabruz area by providing masks, sanitisers, food grains etc. and the Traffic and Local Police by providing face masks and sanitisers.

In a gesture to express solidarity with the State Administration towards supporting the relief and rehabilitation activities being undertaken by the Government of West Bengal for the Amphan affected citizens and also for the Covid prevention measures, the shipyard has contributed Rs 10 lakhs to the West Bengal State Emergency Relief Fund.

The amount was donated by the employees of the shipyard and the Chairman and Managing Director, GRSE, Rear Admiral VK Saxena, (Retd.) presented the cheque for the said amount to the Mayor of Kolkata on June 3.
