Smart Shooter and IEA Mil-Optics Receive Significant Order to Supply SMASH Systems to German Armed Forces

Date:

Tel Aviv: Israeli company Smart Shooter and German company IEA Mil-Optics GmbH have received another significant order to supply a mid-three-digit number of Smart Shooter SMASH systems for the German Armed Forces.
According to the companies, this follow-on order underscores the growing trust of international armed forces in Smart Shooter’s innovative fire control technology.
The SMASH family of fire control systems, which includes handheld-operated, remotely controlled, and UGV-mounted systems, is renowned for its ability to significantly enhance hit probability against both ground and aerial targets, including drones.
Utilising an onboard computer, SMASH technology locks on the target, tracks its movements, and synchronises shot release for swift and precise hits. By integrating Artificial Intelligence, computer vision, and advanced algorithms, the SMASH family transforms standard weapons into precise, smart-shooting platforms. This advanced technology ensures accurate hits, enhances situational awareness, and minimises collateral damage, enabling forces to operate with superior precision, intelligence, and connectivity.
Armed forces from Germany, the UK, and multiple other NATO countries utilise SMASH systems to counter ground threats and drones with unparalleled precision and efficiency.
Michal Mor, CEO of Smart Shooter  said that on today’s battlefield, precision is not just an advantage—it is a necessity.
“We are honoured by the continued trust of the German Armed Forces in our SMASH technology and see it as a testament to its unmatched operational value,” Michal Mor added.
Sebastian Mucke, MIL/sales manager of IEA Mil – Optics said that the follow-on order reaffirms the high performance of the SMASH system and the trust that international armed forces place in it.
“We are proud to contribute to enhancing the operational capability and security of Germany,” Mucke added.
