ROSOBORONEXPORT to Showcase Latest Russian Weapons at DSA 2026 Exhibition in Malaysia

Moscow: JSC ROSOBORONEXPORT (part of the Rostec State Corporation) will organise a joint Russian exhibit at the Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2026 International Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment, which will be held from April 20 to 23 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

“ROSOBORONEXPORT is proud to present Russian defence products in Malaysia, with which our country has strong economic, cultural, science and technology relations. We are optimistic about the development of bilateral military-technical cooperation and are ready to continue equipping the Malaysian Armed Forces with the most advanced systems to strengthen national sovereignty and defence capability,” said ROSOBORONEXPORT Director General Alexander Mikheev.

“At DSA 2026, ROSOBORONEXPORT will showcase the latest Russian products that have been tested in real-world conditions and have proven their combat and operational characteristics. Among them are the Su-57E fifth-generation fighter, which we are ready to supply only to Russia’s reliable partners, loitering munitions and UAVs,” Mikheev added.

In terms of its scale and the number of exhibitors, DSA is among the world’s largest arms and military equipment exhibitions. In recent years the exhibition has become one of the most important defence events in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Su-57E advanced fifth-generation multirole fighter is a key exhibit item at the ROSOBORONEXPORT booth. It boasts real combat experience, including the employment of long-range air-to-air and air-to-surface guided missiles in a heavy air defence fire and electronic countermeasures (ECM) environment.

The aircraft is an excellent modernisation and development option for the Royal Malaysian Air Force, taking into account that it shares a number of systems and weapons with the available Su-30MKM fleet.

The Su-57E is generating considerable interest among ROSOBORONEXPORT’s partners, a number of which have already contracted the Russian fighter. The list of customers for this aircraft is steadily expanding.

In the UAV area, ROSOBORONEXPORT will present both reconnaissance systems and loitering munitions, which have the most extensive operational experience to date. These include the S350M-E (Supercam S350) short-range UAV system, the Lancet-E reconnaissance and strike system from ZALA, as well as the KUB-2E system with guided loitering munitions, the RUS-PE reconnaissance-and-strike system, and the Skat 350M reconnaissance UAV, all developed and manufactured by the Kalashnikov Group.

At the Special Technology Centre booth, which is part of the joint Russian exhibit, ROSOBORONEXPORT will demonstrate to partner delegations the Orlan-10E and Orlan-30 multifunctional UAV systems, which are currently successfully used in more than 20 countries.

In the small arms segment, ROSOBORONEXPORT will demonstrate the 9mm Lebedev pistol, the PPK-20 submachine gun, the latest lineup of Kalashnikov assault rifles, including the AK-15, AK-19, and AK-308, the RPL-20 belt-fed light machine gun, the Chukavin SVCh sniper rifle, and the ORSIS T-5000 carbine.

The Company will offer a wide range of equipment for special operations forces personnel. These include the Neptune-1 positive-buoyancy body armour, the DHF 4-28×56 Harrier intelligent daylight optical sight, thermal imaging sights and reconnaissance devices, and the ANTISVID-2N EO device.

The Echo, Russia’s solution for countering modern cyberattacks, will be unveiled for the first time in the cybersecurity zone.

In addition, ROSOBORONEXPORT will showcase various inspection and screening systems and security equipment for use at transport hubs, in crowded areas and at secured facilities. These include portable detectors for explosives, drugs, and hazardous chemical and biological agents.

ROSOBORONEXPORT’s business programme at DSA 2026 includes meetings with delegations from the Ministries of Defence and other law enforcement agencies of Malaysia and Russia-friendly countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Furthermore, talks are planned with representatives of public and private companies to expand defence technology cooperation projects with Russian enterprises.
