ReTHINK India Remembers Kargil Heroes; Felicitates Edu Warriors

New Delhi. ReTHINK India, a Think Tank based out of National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi, organised a webinar while commemorating the 21st Kargil Victory Day by celebrating the life and times of Edu Warriors in Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, who sacrificed his life for the territorial integrity of India.

Welcoming the august congregation, ReTHINK India Founder and Editor Raghav Mittal said: “On this Kargil Victory Day, we remember the great valour and supreme sacrifice of our 527 martyrs who laid down their lives in securing the territorial integrity and sovereignty of India while fighting the India-Pakistan Kargil War.”

Speaking on the occasion in a audio message, Dr Anirban Ganguly, Director of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Foundation, said that be it armed forces, medicine or education, there is a need of warriors everywhere to come out of any emergency situation.

A video made by a Mumbai-based school was also played commemorating the supreme sacrifice of the Kargil Heroes.

Various educationists, teachers and students were among others, who participated in the webinar.

On this occasion, Edu Warriors (teachers) from various schools of the country were felicitated with Edu Warriors awards. The Edu Warriors, who were nominated by Chairmen/ Principals of their schools across the country, have been putting in lot of efforts and were instrumental in bringing out innovative ideas and solutions of online education during this indefinite pandemic time of Covid-19.
