Tel Aviv. Israel is under constant Cyber-attacks, most of them performed by Iranians and from other countries as well. These cyber-attacks are aimed to harm big organizations.
To protect its infrastructure, the Israel National Cyber Directorate is conducting an across the board efforts.
The national security and technological agency is responsible for defending Israel’s national cyberspace and for establishing and advancing Israel’s cyber power. The Directorate operates at the national level to constantly strengthen the level of defence of organizations and citizens, to prevent and handle cyber-attacks and to strengthen emergency response capabilities.
As part of its roles, the Directorate advances innovative cyber solutions and forward looking technological solutions, formulates strategies and policies in the national and international arenas and develops its cyber manpower. The Directorate strives to maintain a protected, safe and open cyberspace for all of Israel’s citizens and to facilitate the State of Israel’s growth and power base.
In parallel, private companies in Israel are taking part in the big effort and are developing very advanced anti Cyber tools. Recently Odix, one of these companies unveiled its content disarm and reconstruction (CDR) technology, that provides preventative cybersecurity solutions to enterprises of all sizes.
According to the company, Odix’s technology prevents the infiltration of malware to organizational networks by removing all malicious code from a wide range of file types. After years of working in a high-security organization specializing in infrastructure protection, encryption, network security and mobile devices, the founder of Odix Col (Res) Dr Oren Eytan, developed a more effective and cost-efficient approach to network security.
He says that the Odix solutions are specifically focused on providing comprehensive network protection by preventing malware attacks – without the massive investment in detection and remediation associated with existing technologies.
The company says that its CDR solutions handle all malware vectors, eliminating threats before they reach the network. Odix sanitizes incoming files before malware is inserted into the network, making clean and safe files immediately available for use by end users.
Odix security experts continuously analyse various threats, attack vectors and patterns, ensuring that the Odix process is proactive and preventive.
