Tel Aviv: MS Tech, manufacturer of nanosensors, biosensors, detection products and solutions, announced January 22 that it has won a significant contract to supply and install multiple units of its DUOSCAN explosives and narcotics trace detection systems at the new Adani Navi Mumbai International Airport in India.
As part of its expanding footprint in the country, MS Tech has also completed additional DUOSCAN installations at Guwahati International Airport, further strengthening aviation security across key regions.
The Navi Mumbai International Airport is one of India’s most ambitious infrastructure projects, designed to handle up to 90 million passengers annually and 2.5 million tons of cargo each year once fully operational. The airport will feature state-of-the-art terminals, parallel runways, and India’s largest planned general aviation facility, serving as a critical gateway for both passenger and cargo traffic in the Mumbai region.
The Navi Mumbai International Airport was inaugurated in December 2025. With cutting-edge baggage systems, and India’s largest general aviation terminal, the airport is set to transform Maharashtra into a central aviation hub, easing congestion at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and supporting India’s rapid aviation growth. Beyond passenger travel, its modern cargo facilities will accelerate trade and logistics, strengthening India’s role in the global economy.
To meet these massive operational and security demands, Navi Mumbai International Airport has chosen MS Tech’s DUOSCAN systems. Their deployment reflects the airport’s commitment to integrating the most advanced detection technologies available, ensuring that both passenger and cargo traffic move safely and efficiently while addressing the growing challenges of explosives and narcotics smuggling.
In parallel, the deployment of DUOSCAN systems at Guwahati Airport supports enhanced security screening at one of Northeast India’s most important aviation hubs, serving growing domestic and international traffic and reinforcing regional connectivity.
“The recurring procurements from Adani Airports over the years along with recurring renewals of service and maintenance agreements speaks volumes about the overall performance and reliability of our HF-QCM nanotechnology sensors and our explosives detection products” said Doron Shalom, CEO.
“We are delighted to continue supplying and installing explosives and narcotics detection systems to Adani Airports across all of the Airports Authority of India airports across India. Our systems offer advanced and innovative trace detection of passengers, carry-on and checked baggage, enhancing security and improving checkpoint throughput and operational efficiency,” he added.

MS Tech’s flagship products are the EXPLOSCAN, DUOSCAN, MULTISCAN, LIQUISCAN and the THREATSCAN. While the EXPLOSCAN, DUOSCAN, MULTISCAN and THREATSCAN are explosive and narcotics trace and vapors detectors, the LIQUISCAN is a liquid explosives detector that uses the innovative High-Frequency Quartz Crystal Microbalance “HF-QCM nanotechnology sensors developed, manufactured and patented by MS Tech Ltd.
The products feature an innovative design with self-calibrating and self-cleaning capabilities, with the highest levels of sensitivity and operational availability. The HF-QCM nanotechnology sensors are non-radioactive, providing a completely green and safe working environment.
The EXPLOSCAN, DUOSCAN, LIQUISCAN, MULTISCAN and now the THREATSCAN, are ideal for aviation and transportation security, high-threat facilities and infrastructures, military, customs and border control, mail inspection and cargo screening markets. The systems are operationally proven in a wide spectrum of temperatures and withstand even the harshest environmental conditions including dust and humidity.
