Malaysia Airlines Boosts Connectivity in India, Increases Flight Frequency from Amritsar to 7 Times Weekly

New Delhi: In response to the robust travel demand and positive load factor performance on the Amritsar-Kuala Lumpur route, Malaysia Airlines will further boost its frequency from four to seven (7) times weekly effective  August 1, 2024. The airline had previously doubled its frequency to Amritsar from two to four times weekly in January 2024; signifying the confidence of this booming market.

Notably, the enhancement of frequencies from Amritsar will bring the airline’s tally of weekly flights in India to 71. Launched in November 2023, Amritsar is one of three new India routes introduced in 2023 alongside Ahmedabad and Trivandrum. The airline had also recently increased frequencies on the Trivandrum route to four times weekly effective April 3, 2024.

Malaysia Airlines boasts an extensive India network, offering flights from nine major hubs, New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Amritsar and Trivandrum. Serving as the gateway to Asia and beyond for Indian travellers, the airline offers seamless onward connections to Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, and other key destinations in Asia Pacific.

Enjoy fares to Kuala Lumpur from Amritsar starting from INR 15,099 all-in return which is available for sale from now until June 7, 2024 for travel until March 31, 2025.
