Today’s meeting is the first after the recently concluded second informal summit between Modi-Xi in Mamallapuram. Both sides also acknowledged that the concerns and sensitivities of each other should be respected and there was a need to have a mutual trust which is very critical for deepening of bilateral ties. The SRs agreed that for the peace and prosperity in the region and the world there is a need for stable and balanced development of India-China relations.
