Riyadh. HENSOLDT, a global leader in defence and security technologies, is launching the latest addition to its electro-optical portfolio at the World Defense Show. The Bushbaby 100 is an advanced electro-optical system for land-based surveillance, with medium-range multi-sensor surveillance capabilities for a wide range of defence, security and civil applications.

Features

Designed for agile day and night observation applications, the system offers a field-swappable sensor-module for various applications. In standard configuration it provides a clear video feed from a 4K EO sensor along with a compact MWIR sensor and optional laser rangefinder.

Boasting an integrated panoramic daylight EO, medium wavelength infrared (MWIR), and laser range-finder (LRF) capability, this system offers advanced accuracy and versatility in surveillance operations. With a continuous 360-degree azimuth and -45° to +95° elevation range, operators can always maintain complete situational awareness.

The onboard real-time video processor provides image enhancement of all sensors, image fusion of daylight and infrared cameras into a single video stream, image stabilisation, scene steering and target tracking.

Equipped with a gyrostabilised 2-axis system, the Bushbaby 100 ensures steady and reliable performance, even in challenging environments. Built to withstand the harshest conditions, the system meets MIL-STD specifications for ruggedness and durability, ensuring reliable operation in any situation.
