Gulfstream to Make Malaysian Airshow Debut

Gulfstream G280 and G600 to be Showcased at Selangor Aviation Show 2023

 

Savannah, Georgia. Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. is making its Malaysian airshow debut at Selangor Aviation Show 2023 (SAS 2023) with the popular super-midsize Gulfstream G280 and the award-winning Gulfstream G600 on display. The airshow takes place September 7 – 9 at SkyPark Regional Aviation Centre in Selangor.

“Gulfstream is seeing increasing interest in our aircraft across Southeast Asia, and Malaysia is experiencing significant growth in business aviation,” said Scott Neal, senior vice president, Worldwide Sales, Gulfstream. “We are pleased to be making our Malaysian airshow debut at Selangor Aviation Show this week and excited to showcase the class-leading G280 and G600 to customers here, both of which are ideal for operators based in the region.”

With more than 250 in service, the agile G280 features excellent takeoff and landing capabilities and is certified by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for steep approach, providing access to challenging airports around the world. The aircraft can fly up to 3,600 nautical miles/6,667 kilometers at Mach 0.80 with a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.85 and holds more than 85 city-pair records.

The clean-sheet G600, renowned for its technological advancements including the award-winning Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck, can fly at a maximum range of 6,600 nm/12,223 km at Mach 0.85 with a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925. The Symmetry Flight Deck features active control sidesticks and the industry’s most extensive touch-screen technology, both great safety differentiators. The aircraft is also known for its award-winning interior and seat designs and can accommodate up to four living areas with seating for up to 19 passengers.

To continue to enhance the customer experience in Asia Pacific, Gulfstream has added additional authorized warranty facilities to its network, offering customers even more options for service and support in the region. These recently authorized facilities include Mjets in Bangkok, Thailand, and in China, Deer Jet in Beijing; Business Aviation Asia Limited in Shenzhen; and ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China in Tianjin.
