GRSE Celebrates 76th Republic Day

Kolkata. India’s 76th Republic Day was celebrated with patriotism at Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Ltd at its Kolkata headquarters on January 26, 2025.

The Republic Day celebrations began with Cmde PR Hari IN (Retd), Chairman and Managing Director, GRSE, unfurling the National Flag alongside Tapan Kumar Bhowmik, Quality Inspector (Gr-I) (Chargeman), the senior most Operative of the organisation. This gesture embodies the true ethos of GRSE, where the spirit of collaboration and unity transcends all hierarchies. It is a proud reminder that “Virasat leads to Vikas”- a legacy of inclusivity that paves the way for growth.

Others present were RK Dash, Director (Finance), DIG Subrato Ghosh, ICG(Retd), Director (Personnel), Abhishek Ranjan, IOFS, CVO, Justin Ezung, Dy Commandant, CISF and senior officials from GRSE. The CMD received the salute from the contingent of CISF personnel who also performed impressive rifle and pistol ‘drills’ that enthralled all present.

Addressing the gathering, Cmde PR Hari, IN (Retd), Chairman and Managing Director, GRSE stated that to be part of the “Golden India” that is progressing fast on a super expressway of growth makes GRSE proud.

“From a growth perspective, our nation is pole vaulting great heights and we at GRSE are also growing fast. Year 2024 has been a very successful year for Team GRSE and both our physical and financial performance have been the best in the history of the company.” he mentioned.

The CMD congratulated the CISF team for their exemplary turn out and excellent and graceful display, including the cultural program.
