The collaboration primarily focuses on improving the academic framework for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs), ensuring that the workforce supporting India’s rapidly growing aviation sector meets global standards.

The initiative is expected to help address a key gap faced by many skilled aviation technicians who lack formal academic qualifications despite extensive technical expertise.

Speaking at the event, Naidu pointed out that the sector’s strong growth has increased the need for a well-trained workforce capable of supporting modern aviation infrastructure.

The MoU will enable Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya to develop structured curricula and award formal degrees to aircraft maintenance professionals.
