Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Has Telephonic Talk with Japanese Counterpart

New Delhi: As part of the exercise to strengthen defence and strategic relations with Japan, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had a telephonic conversation with his Japanese counterpart Taro Kono on January 9.

The two Defence Ministers discussed on enhancing the bilateral security cooperation under the framework of the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership. They also exchanged views on regional security situation.

Recently, Singh and External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar had held a 2+2 Dialogue with their Japanese counterparts in Tokyo.
