Boeing 777-9 Touches Down at Begumpet Airport

Hyderabad. The city of Hyderabad will be the host to Wings India 2024, from 18 to 21 January.

Before the official start of the air show slated for tomorrow, history was made at Hyderabad’s Begumpet airport, when it welcomed the latest wide-body jet, the Boeing 777-9, on 15 January’s evening.

Boeing will display the aircraft at a static display at Wings India 2024.

The aircraft started its 16-hour long journey from King County International Airport (Boeing Field) in Seattle, USA on 14 January 14, and made an overnight halt at Kona International Airport in Hawaii on the same day. It departed from Kona on 15 January and landed at Begumpet at 6:12 p.m, the same day.

This is the first time a Boeing 777-9 has landed at any airport in India.
