BEL Signs MoU with Elettronica SpA

BENGALURU. At Aero India 2019, Bengaluru, Navratna Defence PSU, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Elettronica SpA (ELT), Italy, have entered into an MoU for Joint Development, Commercialisation and Production of New Generation EW Surveillance Systems.

Mrs Anandi Ramalingam, Director (Marketing), BEL, Mr Domitilla Benigni, Chief Operating Officer, ELT, and Mr Irmin Menscher, Vice President, Elisra, Israel, signed the MoU documents in the presence of Gowtama MV, CMD, BEL, and other senior officers of BEL.

The MoU will enable BEL and ELT to jointly develop new generation EW Surveillance Systems to meet the Global requirements.

BEL has expertise in the design, development, engineering and manufacture of Electronic Warfare & Avionics, Radar & Weapon Systems, NCS and Communications systems, Naval Systems, Electro-optics products, Tank Electronics & Gun Systems, Satcom Systems, Homeland Security & Smart City solutions, Strategic Components and select non-Defence products.
