Tel Aviv: Israeli company Autonomous Guard has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with an Indian company. The initial deal has an estimated value of $1.9 million. The contract is for the supply of the company’s B 3 system. This dual-channel observation and surveillance system, provides powerful day-and-night performance. The system will be used for cutting-edge threat detection and surveillance in the Indian security industry.
According to the company, it is designed specifically for homeland security and critical infrastructure protection and delivers mid-range detection and identification capabilities through advanced thermal and CMOS technologies. The ruggedised platform is engineered to operate in extreme weather and demanding field conditions, offering dependable situational awareness across a broad spectrum of security applications.
Autonomous Guard operates in the field of systems and technological solutions for detecting and protecting against threats, from ground, air and sea.
Describing the deal, Autonomous Guard CEO, Baruch Dillion said that the supply of the products will be carried out gradually, subject to a successful demonstration of the products, with the first systems to be supplied within 6 months of the demonstration and the rest within additional 9 months.
The company estimates that success in the demonstration of the systems and the supply of the products will contribute to the company’s ability to sell additional products to the customer. In addition, the agreement constitutes a first entry into the Indian market and may assist the company in promoting additional agreements with potential customers in the Indian market – a significant milestone for the company’s expansion strategy.
