SASMOS Signs MoU with Karnataka Government During Aero India

Bangalore: SASMOS HET Technologies Limited, a Bengaluru-based Manufacturer and Exporter in the Aerospace and Defense segment, signs an MoU with the Karnataka government during the 14th edition of Aero India 2023, Asia’s biggest Aero Show. The Bandhan event witnessed more than 200 MoUs, Transfer of Technologies and multiple product launches in the gracious presence of  Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai. Large and Medium Scale Industries Minister Murgesh Nirani, Defence Secretary Giridhar Armane, Indian Army Chief Anil Chouhan, Air Chief Marshal V.R Chowdhari were also present during the event.

Aimed at forging and renewing partnerships between business entities for innovative collaboration and strategic transformation of the defence manufacturing sector in the country, the Bandhan event is one of the stepping stones in creating a smooth and promising environment for indegenious manufacturing for  aerospace and defence sector in India.

Subramanya Ullal, CEO at Sasmos HET technologies signed the MoU. As a part of the MoU Sasmos will invest Rs 75 crore and employ upto 400  people to manufacture and Develop electronic assemblies and wiring harness for the next three years. The State Government will facilitate with necessary support and permissions under the prevailing policies/rules and regulations.

Speaking on the Bandhan MoU, H G Chandrashekar, Chairman & Managing Director said “We are glad to be part of this ‘New India’ as stated by the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. We, along with our subsidiary companies and partners intend to showcase a complete ecosystem which would be catalysing the transformation of the aerospace and defense sector. We are enthusiastic to reach new goals, create new connections and get into new business opportunities in India and the globe.”

Built on the theme of “The Runway to a Billion Opportunities”, the show will display India’s growing manufacturing strength under the government’s flagship programme ‘Make In India.’ SASMOS in this course will display some of the indigenous designs and manufacturing strengths of the globe. A few of the showcased products include High-end electronic solutions, LRUs, Fibre optic capabilities, Mechanical components cabling and other aerospace, defence, marine and space engineering capabilities. SAMSOS along with its affiliate companies GloDesi, SASMOS + FESIL will be present at Hall H in the Aero India show.
