ROKADI to Supply Fuel Interface Rings to GA-ASI

SAN DIEGO.  Republic of Korea-based ROKADI has signed a Purchase Order to supply General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) with fuel interface rings for GA-ASI’s new MQ-9B SkyGuardian®/SeaGuardian® Unmanned Aircraft Systems. The signing took place during the Global Industrial Cooperation Association (GICA) 2023 Autumn Conference in Seoul, South Korea on October 13, 2023.

“We’re excited to be working with ROKADI,” said Jaime Walters, vice president of International Strategic Development at GA-ASI. “Using ROKADI’s product is a testament to the confidence GA-ASI has in the Korean industry capability.”

On June 23, 2023, ROKADI completed First Article Inspection of the Interface Fuel Rings. ROKADI designs, engineers, and manufactures large and complex contoured aerostructure components for the aviation industry.

Jisang Park, executive vice president at ROKADI, said: “We are delighted that ROKADI’s capabilities have been approved by GA-ASI. We hope to expand and deepen our relationship with GA-ASI through this opportunity.”

GA-ASI is manufacturer of UAS operated by the U.S. and international partners as an intelligence-gathering and strike-capable asset. GA-ASI has delivered more than 1,000 unmanned aircraft since its founding in 1992 and its aircraft have flown over 8 million hours. GA-ASI’s newest and most advanced aircraft, the MQ-9B SkyGuardian and SeaGuardian, are tailored to meet the multi-domain and multi-environmental needs of its customers.
