The conference will serve as a platform for Lockheed Martin to meet Indian companies, connect them with global supply chain, promote indigenous defence industrial capabilities and further strengthen the ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship. This aligns with India’s national priority to accelerate defence exports.

The conference will also allow Lockheed Martin to explore opportunities with existing and potential suppliers to partner on future procurement requirements of the Indian Armed Forces.

Our annual conferences have enabled Indian industry not only to access the global supply chain but also foster greater inclusion by allowing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and startups the prospect to innovate and participate on a global stage. We look forward to strengthening our long-standing relationship and exploring new opportunities to partner with Indian industry to address our customers’ biggest challenges for the 21st Century and grow our presence and partnerships in support of greater self-reliance in the defence sector,” said Michael Fernandez, India Country Head, Lockheed Martin.

The key highlights of the conference will include:

More than 120 delegates attended the event and over 70 business to business meetings were organised to explore partnership opportunities.

Lockheed Martin continues to build upon more than three decades of partnerships and seven decades of association with India by nurturing and expanding collaborations with local industry to support the foundation of indigenous defence manufacturing ecosystem. Today, the company’s presence has moved beyond defence systems to provide technical support and apprenticeships – fostering positive change and inspiring the next generation from under-represented communities to build sovereign capabilities through industrial partnerships and human capital development.
