Israel’s Meteor Aerospace Ties up Azeri CSBC to Offer Advanced Defense Solutions to Azerbaijan

Tel Aviv. Israeli defense company Meteor Aerospace has teamed with Caspian Ship Building Company (CSBC) in Azerbaijan, to jointly offer advanced defense solutions to meet the national needs of Azerbaijan.

The two companies are well positioned to offer a wide range of defense solutions, with local support, with unique advantages to Azerbaijan’s defense needs and industry.

A new company was established in Azerbaijan, named Caspian Meteor, to implement this
cooperation.

CSBC is a privately owned company in Azerbaijan, whose portfolio already included the region’s biggest joint program with Israeli companies, building military vessels in a shipyard near Baku.

Meteor Aerospace Ltd is a privately owned Israeli hi-tech company, which develops and sells advanced defense solutions. Meteor Aerospace has successfully developed and deployed high performance unmanned systems for air (UAVs), at sea (USVs) and on the ground (UGVs). The company also offers long range precision strike missile.

Azerbaijan has been a major client of the Israeli defence industries. In the recent war between this country and Armenia Israeli made systems mainly loitering weapon systems were widely used.
