Tel Aviv: Israeli company X-TEND will supply thousands of FPV (First Person View) drones to the IDF Ground Forces, equipped with advanced technology. The project is being led by the IDF’s Ground Forces and Technological and Logistics Directorate.
This procurement is part of IMOD Director General Maj Gen (Res.) Amir Baram’s comprehensive strategy to strengthen Israel’s defence production capacity and local industries while maintaining full support for IDF operational needs now and in the intense decade ahead.
The drones will be delivered to the IDF over the coming months alongside comprehensive training and instruction programme provided by the company, and are expected to significantly enhance the operational capabilities of the Ground Forces while delivering optimal solutions to modern warfare challenges.
