Tel Aviv: In spite of the heavy damage and losses Israeli inflicted on the Hezbollah, the Iranian proxy in Lebanon, this organisation has very quickly resumed its efforts to rebuild some of its weapon production capabilities.
To foil this effort, Israel recently carried out airstrikes targeting a major Hezbollah missile manufacturing plant in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa Valley.
According to Israel’s Defence Minister and multiple reports, these strikes were precise and effective.
The targeted site was used to manufacture and store missiles, and was part of Hezbollah’s core missile production capability.
The operation included airstrikes that destroyed vital infrastructure, and according to Israeli statements, prevented Hezbollah from restoring its military capabilities in the area.
Previous similar Israeli operations targeted an underground missile factory built with Iranian support, which was described as Hezbollah’s most strategically important production facility.
These attacks are part of an escalating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, with increasing hostilities and Israel targeting facilities deemed direct threats to its northern border.
