Date:

Tel Aviv. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) continues its cleanup operation in Syria aimed at destroying all the important assets of the Syrian army. The jet fighters carrying heavy bombs, attacked more than 200 targets-Syrian air force bases, Naval bases and ammunition depots.

The strikes are intended to destroy Syrian weaponry that Israel was concerned could end up in the hands of rebels that overthrew Bashar al-Assad, who fled and was granted a political asylum in Moscow.

The IAF also targeted facilities in which the Syrian defence forces manufactured different military systems. Israel also targeted facilities in which, according to updated intelligence, the Assad regime kept the left overs of its chemical weapons after declaring officially that all of it was destroyed.

Israeli sources told Raksha Anirveda that the IAF will continue to destroy any asset that can fall into the hands of the rebels, that include some groups that declare that their next target is Israel. The heavy aerial attacks destroyed all the Russian made fighter aircraft of the Syrian air force.
