The contract is valued at approximately $150 million and includes the purchase of hundreds of HMMWVs, along with spare parts support. The first dozens of vehicles are expected to arrive later this year.

The HMMWVs are light combat mobility vehicles that serve a range of battlefield missions, including troop transport, casualty evacuation, logistical resupply, fire support, communications, maintenance, training, and special operations.

The vehicles feature high cross-country mobility, extended operational lifespan, and operational and maintenance simplicity. The procured vehicle configuration includes adaptations enabling transport of over ten soldiers, evacuation of multiple casualties, and fire support capabilities.
