International Radio Day: Elbit Systems Delivers Its 600,000 Operational Tactical Radio

Haifa, Israel – Elbit Systems Ltd. has delivered its 600,000th radio to an operational customer. This E-LynX Software Defined Radio (SDR) was delivered to the Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV) as part of the Tactical Ground Radio (TGR) program.

For more than 55 years, Elbit Systems has been focused on developing and manufacturing state-of-the-art secured army-wide networked communication technologies for airborne, naval and land forces across a portfolio of various HF, VHF, UHF, Microwave and SATCOM systems, covering the entire spectrum.

The 600,000th radio, delivered to the Swedish Armed Forces, is a fifth-generation tactical V/UHF SDR from the E-LynX family that provides advanced and secure communication capabilities for the modern battlefield. It offers immediate and fast communication, the ability to transmit voice, data and video simultaneously over all terrain, and supports the innovative and multi-domain digitization systems.
