BEL, CENTUM Ink MoU to Indigenously Develop Advanced Tech Critical to Nation’s Defence

Bengaluru: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a leading Indian aerospace and defence company, and Centum Electronics Limited (CENTUM), a global provider of Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) solutions, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

As per the MoU, both companies will collaborate on the design, development and manufacturing of advanced electronic modules, subsystems and systems for Defence electronics specifically targeting critical technology domains such as Electronic Warfare (EW), radar systems and secure military communications.

This strategic partnership aims to strengthen efforts towards fostering indigenous design and production capabilities in advanced technology domains critical to national defence.

Suresh Kumar K V, Director (Marketing), BEL, and Apparao V Mallavarapu, CMD, CENTUM, exchanged the MoU documents on August 19 in the presence of Manoj Jain, CMD, BEL, and Dr Vinod Chippalkatti, President, Centum Electronics Limited, at BEL Corporate Office.
