Sanjay Kumar Verma is New Ambassador of India to Japan

New Delhi. Senior Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Sanjay Kumar Verma has been appointed Indian Ambassador to Japan.

A 1988 batch officer Verma is presently Additional Secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Headquarters in New Delhi.

He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
