India, Qatar Reiterate to Strengthen Bilateral Defence Tie-up

 

New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held delegation-level talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs of Qatar Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah in New Delhi February 4.

The two Ministers reiterated their commitment to strengthen the bilateral defence cooperation, including defence industry relationship.

The Qatar Minister was received by Minister of State for Defence Shripad Naik. The visiting dignitary inspected the Tri-Service Guard of Honour before his bilateral meeting with Singh.

Dr Attiyah is on an official visit to India. The Qatari delegation will be visiting the five-day DefExpo 2020, being held in Lucknow from February 5.
