Bengaluru: Mrs Anandi Ramalingam, Chairman & Managing Director of Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), has received the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI)’s ‘Chanakya Award’ for Good Governance. BEL received as many as 15 awards instituted by the PRCI for excellence in Communication, Media Relations, Branding, Human Resource Management during COVID-19, etc, at the 11th PRCI Excellence Awards 2021, held in Goa on September 17 and 18, 2021.
Mr Ashok K S, AGM (HLS & Smart Cities)/BEL-Bangalore, received the award for Mrs Anandi Ramalingam from Dr Pramod Sawant, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa. Mrs Shirin Samuel, DGM (Corp Comm), BEL, received the PRCI’s ‘Hall of Fame’ Award from the Hon’ble Governor of Goa, Mr P S Sreedharan Pillai, and Mr E A Hariharan, DGM (Corp Comm), BEL, received the Communicator of the Year Award – Government Sector, from Dr Pramod Sawant.
Mr Krishnappa T R, Sr DGM (Corp Comn), BEL, received on behalf of BEL Collateral Awards for Best Corona Awareness Programme (Bronze), Human Resource Management during Covid-19 (Bronze), and COVID Management in Public Sector (Consolation), from Mr Govind Gaude, Hon’ble Goa Minister for Art & Culture. Mr Naveen Namboodiri, Manager (Corp Comn) received the PRCI Collateral Awards for House Journal – Print, English (Silver), Annual Report (Silver), and Best Use of Media Relations (Consolation) from Mr Govind Gaude.
Other awards that the BEL team received at the event were Corporate Film (Bronze), Best Corporate Event (Gold), Health Care Communication Films (Gold), Government Communication Films (Silver), Motivational Films (Silver), and Best Use of Content (Consolation).
