Tel Aviv. Israeli company Thermal Beacon has signed a major deal with a well-known European company that works with armies in Western Europe. The deal included the sale of hundreds of mobile thermal beacons, designed to mark friendly (blue) forces in an innovative way.

According to the company, as the world continues to face complex defence challenges, Thermal Beacon is committed to providing cutting-edge solutions to meet the needs of military and security organizations. The recent deal is a testament to the effectiveness of its products and their ability to enhance the safety and security of soldiers in the field.

Thermal Beacon’s upgraded some of its systems following the increased use of uncooled (Bolometric sensors) thermal systems according to the lessons learned from the war in Ukraine, in which enemy forces in a small area cell use the same weapons and armoured vehicles. Thermal Beacon’s products provide an answer to exactly this problem and allow multispectral thermal observation systems, weapon sights, drones, and UAV optical sensors (LWIR, MWIR and SWIR) to identify the new thermal beacon on a soldier and on an armoured vehicle.

Gil Goldberg, Thermal Beacon’s CEO says: “This new innovation represents a significant step forward in the field of Thermal Beacon’s products line, and demonstrates its commitment to providing highest-quality products and services to meet the evolving needs of its customers. Thermal Beacon will share this development with the world at the IDEX next week in Abu Dhabi”.
